Recipes for salad "Walldorf" at the moment there are many, but the basis for any option is considered an invariable combination of celery, apple, mayonnaise and lemon juice. As additional ingredients in the salad is often added grapes, nuts, dried fruits, and sometimes even chicken breast.

All variants of the Waldorf salad are undoubtedly delicious, I want to offer you my own - with prunes and walnuts.
For preparation of salad "Walldorf" (Waldorf) prepare products under the list. Caloric content of the salad is indicated taking into account the use of light mayonnaise.


Celery halibut - 200 g
Sour-sweet apples - 200 g
Prunes b / c - 80 g
Walnut nuts - 80 g
Lemon - 1/4 pcs.
Mayonnaise - 100 g
Salt, pepper - to taste.

Step-by-step recipe:

Celery peel from hard veins and cut into thin slices. You can cut the same way and straw, if there is a desire and a sharp knife at hand.

This salad, or rather his version, a very long time I saw in Vysotskaya and very much wanted to cook it, so hooked the line-up. The combination may seem unusual, but I assure you, everything is in its place.

But I will open a little secret: a salad with dates and blue cheese is eaten with pleasure even by men, if you pour a glass of good red on the day off.

Cheese "Dor Blue" - 80 g
Dates - 50 g
Tomatoes dried - 5-7 pieces.
Salad leaves - 3 pcs.
Cilantro - a couple of twigs
Parsley - a couple of twigs
Olive oil - 1 tbsp.
White wine vinegar - 1 tsp.
Salt sea - to taste
Pepper - taste
Parmesan (if available) - 1 tsp.

Leaf lettuce, cilantro and parsley wash, drain. Salad grasp your hands, lay on a serving dish, sprinkle with leaves of parsley and cilantro. Cilantro should be literally a few leaves, it should not dominate the salad and choke its flavor with the flavor of blue cheese.
