What could be better than a cup of warming coffee on a cold winter morning ?! Just a cup of Viennese coffee!
There are dozens of options for this drink, I want to share with you my favorite - a Viennese coffee recipe with whipped cream and chocolate.
Flavored with spices and spices, flavored with chocolate, wrapped in a fluffy cream hat of whipped cream - this is not just coffee, but a real treat!


Ground coffee to taste
Water to taste
Sugar - to taste
Cream - to taste (30-50 ml)
Dark chocolate - 1-3 pieces

Additionally (optional):

Cinnamon - 0.5-1 stick
Allspice - 1-3 peas
Cardamom - 1-3 boxes
Vanilla - to taste (for whipping cream)
Powdered sugar - to taste (for whipping cream).

Step by step recipe.

To make Viennese coffee, we need: natural ground coffee, sugar, water, ground or whole spices, whipped cream and, if desired, a few pieces of dark chocolate.

Make strong, delicious coffee to your liking. For me it is: 3 teaspoons with a slide of good ground coffee, a few peas of allspice, a cinnamon stick and two or three boxes of cardamom. Pour in water, mix and bring to a boil. Add sugar as desired.

Place 1–2 pieces of dark chocolate on the bottom of the coffee cup. You can preheat the cup by rinsing with boiling water or holding it over boiling water.

Add hot coffee by filling the cup halfway or 2/3.

Add cream. There are possible options: you can add regular or whipped cream.

I, if possible, always prefer the option of homemade cream, whipped with powdered sugar and vanilla.

Viennese coffee is ready. If desired, you can sprinkle the drink with grated chocolate, cinnamon or cocoa.
