Scandinavian rolls with cardamom and cinnamon.

Cinnamon rolls-snails also appear in the story of Astrid Lindgren. These are the same buns that Carlson weaves in the Russian translation of the fairy tale.


For the test:
350 g of flour;
15 g fresh yeast;
60 g of sugar;
150 ml of milk;
60 g melted (not hot!) Butter;
½ eggs;
Ground cardamom - ½ tablespoon;
Salt - ½ teaspoon.

For filling:
30 g melted butter;
Sugar - 20 g;
1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.

The recipe for 6 servings.
Cooking time - 40 minutes (+ 1 ½ hours for the proofing of the dough).


Yeast dilute in several tablespoons of milk. Let stand warm. Pour the yeast into the oil. Add the rest of the ingredients for the test. Knead for 10-15 minutes. Cover and leave for 30 minutes.

Approached dough roll into a layer thickness of 3-5 mm. Lubricate the top layer with melted butter. Sprinkle with sugar mixed with cinnamon. Then roll the dough into a roll. Cut into pieces 2 cm thick.

Cover the baking sheet with baking paper. Lubricate the remaining oil. Lay the buns. Cover with a towel and leave for 1 hour. Mix the remaining half of the egg with 1 tablespoon of water. Lubricate the matched buns. Bake at 220 ° C for 10 minutes.
