Roasted duck breast with mashed figs. Healthy snack recipes.

INGREDIENTS:

ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp..
Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp..
duck fillet with a total weight of 600-800 g - 4 pcs.

Garlic - 4 cloves.
olive oil - 4 tbsp. l.
sprigs of fresh thyme - 4 pcs.
salt, freshly ground black pepper.

For mashed figs:

freshly ground black pepper;
cinnamon - 1/2 sticks;
average green apple - 1 pc.;
Vanilla - 1/2 pod;
bay leaf - 2 pcs.;
sun-dried figs (arbitrarily cut) - 400 g;
red port wine - 500 ml;
honey - 3 tbsp. l.;
melted butter - 3 tbsp. l.;
sprigs of fresh thyme - 4 pcs.;
bulb shallots - 3 pieces.

Step by step recipe for cooking:

Shallots cut into slices. Apple cut, remove the seeds and chop. In a deep saucepan, sauté shallots and spices for 2-3 minutes. Add apples, honey cook for another 5 minutes.

Put chopped figs and simmer all together for 3 minutes. Then pour the port wine, reduce heat to low, cover the saucepan lid. Cook, stirring occasionally for 35 minutes. Season with salt and pyurirovat in a blender.

While preparing mashed potatoes, cook the duck. Duck fillet wash, dry, make a cross-shaped incisions with a knife on the part of the skin. Rub the meat with salt, pepper, cinnamon and cardamom. Share on cold skin side down and put on fire. Fry for 5-6 minutes on each side. Remove from heat and let the meat rest. Then cut into thin slices fillet.

On a plate put a little sauce, top with duck fillet. Serve the dish hot.
