Rice pudding with nuts and raisins.

A great alternative to regular rice porridge is rice pudding with nuts and raisins. Even if the children flatly refuse milk porridge, such a treat will surely be to their taste.


Rice - 0.5 tbsp.
Cashew nuts - 1 tbsp. l
Almonds - 1 tbsp. l
Raisins (seedless) - 2 tbsp. l
Butter - 2 tbsp. l
Milk - 3 tbsp.
Sugar - 1/3 Art.
Saffron - 1 pinch
Cardamom - 1 pinch
Salt - 1 pinch

Cooking Pudding:

1. Prepare the ingredients in advance. Rinse the rice, pour a couple of glasses of water and leave for 1 hour.

2. Cut the nuts with a knife. Put butter in a preheated pan and when it begins to sizzle, pour nuts with raisins. Fry them for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.

3. Pour milk into a deep pot and bring to a boil over moderate heat.

4. Before the milk boils, pour saffron with 2 tablespoons of hot milk and let it brew.

5. Pour rice into boiling milk and add sugar after 10 minutes. Then cook for another 30-40 minutes stirring occasionally.

6. A few minutes before cooking, add a mixture of nuts and raisins, saffron, cardamom and salt to the pan. Serve the pudding warm.
