Potato sticks. Oil sticks contain a secret ingredient - kartofelnoe puree, which is why better to eat them while still hot. Be sure to sprinkle sticks seeds: sesame seeds, poppy seeds or cumin.

We will need these ingredients:

125 g butter (cut into cubes)
125 g flour + for rolling
125 g of cold mashed potatoes
1 egg (whip)
Article 1-2. l. sesame seed, poppy or caraway

a large pan (grease)

Cooking method:

1 In a large bowl, rub the flour and butter into small crumbs. Add mashed potatoes and knead a soft dough. Wrap it with cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour - the dough will be thick for rolling.
If it stays cold even sticky to mix a little flour.

2 Preheat the oven to 220 ° C. Roll out the dough into a thin layer on a floured board and with a sharp knife or a special wheel for the test cut into thin strips width of about 1 cm. Trim gather again roll out and cut into even strips.

3 Transfer the dough strip on a greased baking tray, brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle seeds on choice and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve the sticks as a snack or addition to drinks. Before serving, garnish with chives feathers.
