Pies with apples and a very simple recipe for pastry without kneading, which is suitable for pies, rolls, wickers, rolls, bread, etc.

The dough can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Yeast can be used pressed (15 grams) or ordinary dry (7 grams). Butter can be replaced with vegetable oil without a pronounced smell and taste. Instead of sugar, you can use honey. You can also flavor the dough with vanilla sugar or citrus zest.

The filling for pies can be any: cherries, cottage cheese, poppy seeds, nuts, dried fruits, thick jam, etc. You can give a variety of forms. Ready cakes do not stale for a long time if stored after cooling in a closed container at room temperature.

Note! I used only half of the test and the filling is designed for this amount. From half the dough, I got 8 pies. If you are going to cook pies from the whole portion of the dough, then double the amount of filling.

Ingredients for the dough:

Flour - 470 g
Yeast (instant) - 5 g
Salt - 5 g
Water -170 g
Egg - 2 pcs.
Sugar or honey - 80 g
Butter - 60 g

For filling:

Stewed apples - 350-400 g

Cooking pies:

1. Combine warm water (30 ° C) with yeast, sugar, melted butter and eggs at room temperature, mix until smooth.

2. Add the sifted flour and salt, mix the dough with a spatula until smooth.

3. Cover the bowl with foil and leave for an hour.

4. Using a spatula, grab the dough from the edge and pull it to the opposite side of the bowl, turning the bowl clockwise, tighten the whole dough in this way.

5. Cover the bowl with foil and leave for one hour at room temperature.

6. Tighten the dough (see point 4). Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 12-24 hours.

7. On a floured board, stretch the dough into a rectangle and fold three times, and then three times again. Cover with a bowl or foil and leave for 30 minutes.

8. Separate half of the dough, roll up the tourniquet and divide it into 8 equal parts. Each round, cover with a film and leave for 15 minutes.

9. Roll the ball into a cake, with a diameter of 13-14, put the filling on the center and form a blank in the form of a semicircle, carefully press the free edge and make frequent cuts 1-1.5 cm long, fasten the formed strips together by 3 pieces, pressing the ends together.

10. Transfer the blanks to a baking sheet lined with baking paper with a non-stick layer, cover with a towel and place in a warm place for 30 minutes to proof.

11. Lubricate the workpiece with a shaken egg.

12. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees at an average level without convection for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
