This dish has gained immense popularity in Canada and is served in so many restaurants in Montreal. Fragrant, delicious, Canadian-style pork ribs melting in your mouth.


Pork ribs - 1200 g
Applesauce -100 g
Ketchup - 100 g
Soy sauce - 3 tbsp. l
Garlic (dry) - 1/2 tsp.
Paprika (sweet) - 1/2 tsp.
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp.
Sugar (brown) - 2 tbsp. l
Lemon - 1/2 pcs.

Preparation of ribs:

1. To prepare the sauce in a bowl, mix applesauce, ketchup, brown sugar, soy sauce, half lemon juice, dried garlic, black pepper, cinnamon and paprika. All mix well.

2. Pork ribs pour cooked marinade (sauce) and mix. Leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

3. Send the ribs on a baking sheet, cover with foil on top and put in the oven preheated to 220 degrees for 50 minutes.

4. Then remove the foil, drain the excess liquid, grease the ribs with sauce from the bottom of the baking sheet and send it back to the oven for another 35 minutes. Pour ribs with sauce every 10 minutes.

A simple recipe for making pork ribs in a piquant and very fragrant marinade.
Cooking the ribs in the sleeve helps the meat remain juicy and very tender.


Fleshy pork ribs - 1 kg
French mustard (in grains) - 2 tbsp. l
Honey - 2 tbsp. l
Ground paprika - 1.5-2 tbsp. l
Salt, pepper - to taste

Cooking steps:

1. Cut the ribs in portions, after washing and drying them.

2. Salt and pepper the ribs to taste.

3. Prepare the marinade: mix paprika, honey and mustard seeds.

4. Send the ribs to the marinade and leave to marinate for 1.5-2 hours in the refrigerator.

5. Place the ribs in the baking sleeve and send to the oven for 40 minutes. at a temperature of 200 degrees.

6. Then cut the sleeve and send it to the oven for another 10 minutes.
