Home-made jelly cake in the shape of a heart will allow you to please your loved ones (and yourself, of course) with a delicious and beautiful dessert.

Ingredients for the milk layer:

Water - 150 ml
Gelatin - 18 sheets
Milk - 800 ml
Concentrated milk - 200 ml
Condensed milk - 200 ml

For the berry layer:

Powder for making jelly (with raspberry or strawberry flavor) - 75 g
Water - 1 L
Sugar - 250 g

Additionally:

Vegetable oil
Silicone heart shape
Small heart shaped tin (e.g. for cookies)
Vanilla Sauce (optional)

Cooking Cake:

To make a jelly cake, first we’ll soak the gelatin in water. Heat 150 ml in a saucepan and pour the soaked gelatin into it. We mix milk with concentrated and condensed milk, and then add to the saucepan with gelatin.

Lubricate the silicone mold with oil and pour about half the milk mass for the jelly into it. Then put the mold in the refrigerator for about 2 hours to freeze the jelly. The remaining mixture is left warm.

Tip: if many bubbles form during mixing, they can be removed using a strainer.

When the creamy jelly is frozen, gently cut holes in it in the shape of hearts with a tin mold.

It's time to tackle the berry layer of our jelly cake: fill the jelly powder with water, add sugar and heat in a saucepan, stirring constantly.

Let the mixture cool, and then pour part of the mixture into the mold to form a layer equal to a layer of creamy jelly.

Put the mold back in the refrigerator for about an hour and a half. The remaining mixture is stored in a warm place so that the jelly does not freeze.

When the red layer of jelly hardens, pour the remaining milk mixture on top and put the jelly to solidify again. Tip: if the jelly mixture has time to thicken, you can simply heat it, stirring constantly.

Finally, pour the remaining mixture for berry jelly into the mold and put everything in the refrigerator for the last time. It remains to wait 2-3 hours.

When the jelly has frozen, gently turn the mold over and remove the cake from it. With vanilla sauce, this charming jelly cake will be even tastier.
