Fritters with apples. Sweet, juicy apple fritters are the perfect weekend breakfast for the whole family.

Ingredients:

2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 ½ cup kefir or yogurt
2 cups wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt

¼ cups of sugar (you can and without sugar - depends on your taste and on apples, if sour - you can add, in general, see for yourself)

3 medium sized apples, cut into quarters and peeled

vegetable or melted butter for frying
powdered sugar

Cooking:

1. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs with kefir.

2. In another larger bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

3. Now pour a mixture of eggs with kefir into a bowl with flour and mix well so that there are no lumps.

4. On a coarse grater or using an appropriate food processor grater, grate the apples and also add them to the dough. Shuffle.

5. Heat a large skillet over medium (closer to low) heat. It is very important to maintain the right temperature so that the pancakes are not burnt and cooked inside. Lubricate the pan with oil, preferably with a brush, so that the oil layer is as thin as possible.

6. Using a tablespoon, place the dough in a skillet. Cover and fry for about 2 minutes, watch to not burn. Then reduce the heat, remove the lid, turn the pancakes over in turn, cover again and simmer for about a minute.

Transfer to a large plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. If you are afraid that while you cook the pancakes will cool down - you can put a plate with them in the oven preheated to 120-150 ° C during frying.

7. When you fry a new portion of fritters, do not forget to slightly increase the heat (medium, closer to weak) and grease a thin layer of butter in the pan.

8. Serve the pancakes hot with honey or jam. You can also sprinkle with cinnamon.
