French sugar cake. The most famous and popular in France, airy like a feather, sweet sugar cake without kneading dough with your hands.
A classic yeast cake that all French people adore and cook. This recipe conquers absolutely everyone.

It is worth trying it once and you will fall in love with it forever. The yeast cake dough is surprisingly simple to make. The only condition is to wait until it rises.

Ingredients for Dough:

Milk 3.2% (warm) - 100 ml
Dry yeast - 7 g (1 sachet)
Sugar - 1 tsp.
Flour - 1 tbsp. l
For the test:
Flour - 270 g
Vanilla Sugar - 40 g
Eggs (room temperature) - 2 pcs.
Butter (melted, but not hot) - 100 g
Salt - 1/2 tsp.

For sprinkling:

Butter (cold) - 50 g
Sugar - 140 g
Cream 10% (room temperature) - 200 ml

Pie making:

1. In warm milk (100 ml) add yeast 7 grams (1 sachet), 1 tsp. sugar and 1 tbsp. l flour, mix and put in a warm place for 15 minutes before foaming.

2. Add 40 grams of vanilla sugar (or regular sugar + vanilla) to the suitable yeast, 2 eggs at room temperature, 100 grams of melted, but not hot butter, and 1/2 tsp. salt. Mix everything well.

3. In the resulting mixture, sift the flour in two divided doses, stirring with a spoon. The dough should be sticky and sticky. Cover the dough with foil and put in a warm place for 45-60 minutes until the volume increases by 2-3 times.

4. When the dough rises put it in a baking dish (I have 28x22 cm), greased with vegetable oil and sprinkled with flour. Smooth the surface of the dough with a spatula greased with vegetable oil. Cover the mold with foil and put again in a warm place for 35-45 minutes until the volume increases by another 2-3 times.

5. While the dough is suitable, prepare a sprinkle. To do this, use a fork to grind cold butter (50 grams) with sugar (140 grams) until a homogeneous buttery crumb is obtained.

6. In a suitable test, make holes with the back of a spoon greased with vegetable oil and evenly sprinkle with crumbs of oil.

7. Put the cake in the oven preheated to 170-180 degrees and bake for 35 minutes until the top is medium browned and the dough is ready. Willingness to check with a toothpick.

8. Remove the cake from the oven and evenly pour cream with 10% fat (200 ml).

9. Put the pie back in the oven and bake another 10 minutes. The cake should be a little browned, and the cream should be completely absorbed.
