Owners of waffle irons are simply obliged to treat their relatives with soft and airy Belgian waffles with a crispy crust and vanilla aroma.

To make crispy Belgian waffles, we need the following ingredients.


Wheat flour - 175 g
Milk - 225 ml
Butter - 85 g
Chicken Egg - 2 pcs.
Cane Sugar - 50 g
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Salt - a pinch
I got 12 waffles.

Step by step recipe

Beat butter with a mixer.
Add the yolks, milk, sifted flour, baking powder and beat with a mixer at low speed until a homogeneous dough is obtained.

In a separate bowl, beat the squirrels and salt into a strong foam.
Gradually introduce cane sugar and beat until stable peaks.

Gently move the proteins into the dough from the bottom up.
The waffle dough is ready.
Preheat the waffle iron and bake the waffles according to the instructions.

Cool the finished waffles on the wire rack.

Important additions to the recipe

Over time, the waffles cease to be crispy, so just dry them in a pan or in the oven.
Any waffles turn out to be more airy and lush if you beat the egg white separately from the yolk.
