Chicken in Greek. A fragrant chicken with couscous in Greek style.


Chicken (fillet) - 2 pcs.
Onions - 3 pcs.
Black olives - 20 g
Tomatoes (cherry) - 100 g
Couscous - 170 g
Pepper (red) - 1 pc.
Oregano (dried) - 1 tsp.
Lemon - 1 pc.
Carrots - 1 pc.
Oil (olive) - 3 tsp.
Pepper (black ground)
Mint - 10 g.

Cooking recipe.

Boil the water in a small saucepan.
Remove seeds from pepper. Slice it with strips.
Peel the onions. Finely slice.

Take out the bones from the olives. Cut into halves.
Slice the cherry tomatoes. Put in a large plate of all the ingredients. Set it aside.

Put the couscous into the bowl. Pour boiling water (250 ml).
Cover with a plate. Let the infusion (about 5 minutes).
Stir the couscous with a fork. Add the chopped vegetables. Then add a little mint.

Add 2 tsp. olive oil. Then add 1/2 lemon juice. Stir well. Season to taste with black pepper.

Place the fillet in a container. Sprinkle it with olive oil. Sprinkle oregano and a pinch of black pepper. Add the lemon zest.

Peel the carrots. Slice thin strips.
Place in a small bowl. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Add the lemon juice.

Heat the non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Put the meat in a hot frying pan. Cook for 10 minutes. Gradually turn over .. Then cut the meat into thin strips.

Put on the plate couscous, meat and sprinkle on top of carrots. Serve the dish with a dzhakiki sauce.
