The name of this dish comes from the Georgian word "jokhobi", which means "pheasant". But do not be upset if you do not have a carcass of freshly shot game in your fridge. You can safely use a chicken.
Ingredients:
Chicken1,5-2 kg
Bulb3-4 pcs.
Large tomatoes4 pcs.
Tomato paste2 tbsp. L.

Garlic 4-5 denticles
Adjika 1 tsp.
Kinza1 bundle
Utsjo-suneli and corianderum 3/4 tsp.
Vegetable oil of eye.

Cooking method:
We chop off the chicken, cut it into pieces. Finely chop the onion and sauté it in a separate bowl until it is clear. Spread the chicken in a pan with thick walls (better cast iron), add vegetable oil, salt and simmer on low heat under a lid for 20-30 minutes in its own juice. Add the onion to the chicken.
Tomatoes cut into cubes and stew for 3-4 minutes, then add there tomato paste and stew for a few more minutes. Add the tomato dressing to the chicken. If there is not enough liquid in the pan, you can add a little water.
We cut half a cilantro. We add adjika, cilantro, peeled and chopped hot peppers to the chahokhbili. Extinguish the chicken for another 30-40 minutes.
