Sugar Fudge Pudding Buns.
Delicate and hot homemade cakes with pudding and sugar fondant. These buns just melt in your mouth.

If you have a little time, you can use purchased dough and use ready-made purchased pudding as a filling. But, of course, the do-it-yourself treat is much tastier!

Ingredients for the dough:

Flour - 320 g
Warm milk - 120 ml
Butter (melted) - 40 g
Fresh yeast - 21 g
Sugar - 90 g
Egg - 1 pc.

For pudding:

Milk - 500 ml
Sugar - 100 g
Vanilla - 1 pod
Egg yolks - 6 pcs.
Corn Starch - 60 g


Egg - 1 pc.
Powdered Sugar - 125 g
Lemon juice - 3 tbsp. l

Cooking Buns:

1. It is better to prepare the dough and the filling for the buns in advance, then the buns themselves can be baked at the right time in just half an hour.

For the dough, mix flour, milk, melted butter, yeast, sugar and an egg. The dough is kneaded for about 15 minutes, but after that it needs to be put in the refrigerator for several hours (about 4 hours).

2. Now we’ll deal with the filling for buns: over low heat, heat milk with sugar, add vanilla from the pod and remove the mass from the stove.

Separately, mix the yolks with starch, and then mix with milk. Mix the mass thoroughly - it is very important that it turns out homogeneous.

We heat the whole mass again, stirring constantly, but do not bring it to a boil. Let the pudding cool, and then put it in the refrigerator for 3 hours.

3. When the time comes to cook buns, it remains to do only the simplest. Roll out the dough into an elongated rectangle about 1 cm thick.

4. In the center of the rectangle from the dough, spread the filling for the buns - vanilla pudding with an even layer.

5. Turn the edges of the dough to the middle so that the filling is inside.

6. With a sharp knife, cut the dough into 4-5 identical parts.

7. Each part is slightly pulled and gently twisted. Then we place the buns on a baking sheet so that there is enough space between them and the buns do not stick together during baking.

8. Grease the buns with an egg and set to bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25 minutes in the upper and lower heating mode.

9. To make creamy fudge, just mix the powdered sugar with lemon juice. Thickly cover the finished buns and you can enjoy.
