BRUSH-TONET.  Unusually crumbly, air-tender brushwood in the form of cakes, from which it is simply impossible to tear yourself away! Getting ready is elementary!


Flour - 250 g
Egg - 2 pcs. (large)
Sugar - 30 g
Salt - 0.5 tsp
Vinegar 6% - 20 ml
Vegetable oil - 30 ml
Zest - 1 lemon
Powdered sugar with vanilla - for sprinkling
Vegetable oil - for frying


Step by step recipe.

Ah, those crunchy bubbles of dough they drive me crazy! Do not cook them - beyond my strength!

To prepare this unusually tasty brushwood, take the necessary products from the list, they are the simplest.

If there is no 6% vinegar, take a table, reducing the amount by half.
In a bowl, combine eggs, salt, sugar, vegetable oil and vinegar.

Stir everything well with a whisk. Add the lemon zest.
Then add flour and knead soft dough. Knead the dough on the table.

It turns out to be sticky, so add a little flour when working, but do not make the dough too thick.

Let the dough lie down a little under the film, and then knead a little more.
Roll the tourniquet from the dough and cut into identical pieces. Roll each piece into a ball.

Help yourself by lightly dusting the table with flour.
Cover the resulting balls of dough with a film from drying.

Then roll each ball into a very thin cake, so that the dough is visible.

Make cuts with a curly knife
In a pan or a small diameter ladle, heat the oil well and fry the flat cakes on both sides in deep fat.

Usually I don’t pour too much oil, 2-3 cm will be enough.

The oil must necessarily be well warmed up, then the brushwood will turn out non-greasy and will not take a lot of oil.

It comes out amazingly dry.

Put the brushwood on a napkin and let it cool.
Sprinkle the finished brushwood with icing sugar and vanilla and serve for tea.

It is simply impossible to break away, it melts in your mouth! Highly recommend cooking!
