If you have tried or even made bavarois (Bavarian cream) yourself, you probably remember its taste.

The magic cream of jelly-like consistency is amazing in itself, and also opens up a huge scope for culinary imagination.

It can be used to create layered cakes, as a filling for pancakes and tartlets, and for greasing cakes ...
The trouble is that this exquisite delicacy is quite high in calories, since the recipe provides for the use of heavy cream, milk, eggs.

We are in a hurry to offer a dietary recipe for a cream dessert.
This Bavarian cream is allowed to eat even for those who monitor weight according to the Ducan system.
An excellent thing to taste!


Milk - 1.5 cups
Sugar to taste
Egg yolk - 3 pcs.
Sour cream - 300 ml
Water - 4 tbsp. l.
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Gelatin - 1 tbsp. l.


1. Mash the yolks with sugar and put on low heat. Pour milk in a thin stream and heat for 10 minutes with constant stirring. Do not bring it to a boil! Remove from stove.

2. Whisk in low-fat sour cream or plain yogurt with vanilla extract.

3. Soak (dissolve) gelatin according to package directions. Pour the gelatin into the milk-egg mixture, stir, leave to cool at room temperature.

4. Add whipped sour cream or cottage cheese, mix thoroughly again and place in bowls. Place in refrigerator to solidify. Both adults and kids will be delighted with this airy, porous dessert!
The consistency of the finished dessert is largely determined by the amount of gelatin.
Put a little more - you get almost panna cotta, a little less - you get a dessert that is close to ice cream in consistency.
